This year’s Amazon India fashion week was not just about launching new collections but also aimed at synergising traditional pattern with modern textile designs
71 different designers showcased their unique collection which was bonded by same thread of Indian handlooms and textile.
Highlights of day 1 at amazon India fashion week included good earth’s handloom theme and one such collection was brought upfront by SHIANA N C.

Designer Shaina NC exhibited around a dozen tussar silk saris, which was fusion of her own designs as well as ones inspired by the weavers of Jharkhand. Shaina NC is known for her dedicated efforts to promote Indian handlooms. She presented her collection for the first time at AIFW.

Her collection was named as jharcraft inspired from weaving of Jharkhand. Jharcraft presented an impressive line-up of innovatively draped saris in sophisticated hues by Shaina NC; high octane white-and-metallic lehengas, long jackets and anarkalis by Dabiri.

The entire collection was about the tradition of Jharkhand , it’s weaving and patterns were the focus of the show subtled down by simple makeup and accessories.
