SHRUTI SANCHETI AT AMAZON INDIA FASHION WEEK 2017 IN ASSOCIATION WITH JHARCRAFT

‘The Tribe’ by Shruti Sancheti is a swanking tale of nomadic India. In association with Jharcraft, Sancheti puts on an elaborate display of mulberry, tussar and hand spun cotton for Amazon India Fashion Week 2017.

According to the designer, the collection is the story of a wanderlust bride living in a baked mud in some remotest of Hamlet of India and this tale was very well portrayed with the use of rustic colours like charcoal, burgundy, onyx, mahogany and teal.

Separates like trench coats, peplum jackets, Gypsy skirts, oversize crop tops, dhoti trousers, capes, trail skirts, jump suits justified every bit of the modern gypsy theme. Moreover, revamping of the Kantha stitch with wool and geo ethnic motif also contributed to the success story of this collection.
